[asterisk-users] Confusion on call forwarding

After setting promiscredir set to yes * is goign to send the call to the first desrination on the Contact header.

And then what do I do in the dialplan?  I.e., what context is the 
redirect number interpreted in?  Google searches on this issue show
inconsistent and contradictory information.
