This might be your answer:

Exten => s,1,answer

Exten => s,n,wait(10,m)

Exten => s,n,Dial.

 

This would wait 10 seconds playing MOH before dialing.

I would like to play music to an inbound caller, AFTER asterisk answers the
call, but before the call is bridged by DIAL.  Is there a simple way to
achieve this?
