I forgot:

/etc/init.d/asterisk stop # not always required. I rather avoid it
dahdi_genconf modules
/etc/init.d/dahdi start # will likely fail. Also: restart? unload
                        # existing?
dahdi_genconf
# For astribanks, also:
#dahdi_genconf xpporder
/etc/init.d/dahdi start
/etc/init.d/asterisk start
