[asterisk-users] Asterisk 1.6.1.0-rc2 Now Available

The Asterisk Development Team is pleased to announce the second release
candidate of Asterisk 1.6.1, tagged as version 1.6.1.0-rc2. Release candidate
1.6.1.0-rc2 is available for immediate download at http://downloads.digium.com/
In addition to other bug fixes, this release candidate adds architecture
improvements for stability, performance, and code maintainability of chan_sip.
Because of these changes, particular attention should be applied to the testing
of chan_sip. Of course wider general testing of the code base is encouraged and
appreciated!
Issues found in this release candidate can be reported at
http://bugs.digium.com/.
Also of note is that previous dot zero versions of the 1.6.x branches had been
released without a trailing dot zero. This release addresses that.
