I am not sure I entirely understand, but I think you are talking
about such things as finalising a pin entry with #, stopping Echo(),
or halting a voice recording.

If that's the case, then the default features.conf file is mightily
misleading:

;disconnect => *             ; Disconnect  (default is *)
;automon => *1                        ; One Touch Record a.k.a. Touch Monitor
;atxfer => #0                        ; Attended transfer
