That won't affect the SDP negotiations; if sip.conf allows g729 for that
endpoint, Asterisk will negotiate it, regardless of whether there is a
transcoding path available or not. Asterisk cannot know in advance
whether transcoding will even be necessary for the call, so there's not
much point in dropping g729 from the format list in the case where no
transcoder is available.
