I am pretty sure that the make process goes out and downloads the
sounds from Digium's servers.
If you built from source, go into your Asterisk source directory and
type make menuselect.
I always select/download all the sounds in every codec as well as the
additional. Sometimes, I even grab the different languages too.
You could just browse digium's site for the sounds files.

Download and extract...
