Thanks for the response! So I was correct in assuming that there's no
"[compat]" option to keep the 1.4 behavior for this? (I only saw three
"compat" options when I looked through the asterisk source in 1.6.)
I thought I had read all the upgrade docs (and even a lot of the svn
commits) but I completely missed that. :-)
