[asterisk-users] Customer complains of noise on line I cannot reproduce.

Ok, prepare yourself for a long week end;)

1) Replace all cables on isdn card
2) Read misdn-init.conf carefully, play with parameters, I don’t think that I need to describe them, file is well commented.
3) Test communications port by port (dial out with each at least 5 times) If you found that problem on one port, 2 cases, card or line, so first change line for the same port, sound reproduces? Card problem. No? maybe line but not sure. See next.
4) Test with old pabx (if possible) Got the bad quality with old pabx? If yes not * problem.
5) Sometimes it is the card itself, buy a cheap one port visdn card (~25€) install/test with it (connect with bad line if found). Sounds gone ? card problem.

6) Write feedback
7) Buy beer.
