You can use an external ATA.

I have a Linksys SPA3102 which has 1 FXO (Bell line) port, 1 FXS (phone) 
port and one Ethernet port to connect via SIP to Asterisk.

Alternatively, there are USB connected adapters eg. Xorcom.com but I 
haven't used them.
