[asterisk-users] sip channel - detect ringing (nvlinedetect??)

Hello ppl,
Is there any other way to detect states like Ringing on SIP channels on Asterisk?
Nvlinedetect is one way, but it seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth!

Any pointers or does anyone have the code for NV* features?
