First of all, Baji, you don't know me or my history with Tzafrir Cohen so
don't play Dr. Phil.
Well for further clarification, I have not seen a single posts or problem
along these lines to the lists and experienced none myself.
I dare you to show me one reproducable issue with the way things are
currently being done? (Maybe your hardware does not play well with
Sangoma's? Is that what is driving the root of your crusade?)
If not, then what is? Where can you show me one reproducable issue in the
wild (not in your lab)?
I did Tzafrir a favor and got him in in with the senior people at Sangoma
(yes, I am on first name basis with people at Sangoma).
I personally took Tzafrir Cohen by the hand and introduced him to the top
people at Sangoma after hearing this pet peeve for weeks or was it months?
(Sangoma have been extremely helpful to me on more occassisons that I can
count, and with quick reply times.
Sangoma has gone so far as to give me a rather large credit line without
signing a single paper or checking my credit simply based on my standing
with them and the community.
I think if you are not receiving responses, it is a sign that they do not
care to work with you for whatever reason. Draw your own conclusions.
Maybe they do not find it worth their time, maybe they do not see it as this
HUGE issue you do, maybe they don't care to work with competitors. Maybe
they just don't like your general attutide and lack of asking for something
with words such as "please" and being nice, and then giving thanks when you
get it. Instead of making demands and telling them that they are doing it
wrong.
Maybe none of the above are true but I can tell you this, every single email
I have sent to Sangoma for sales and support have been replied to in a
timely manner.
Actually, this may be helpful. The first email Tzafrir sent directly to me
was caught by my spam filter. Maybe they are not even getting your emails?
I am not sure that the users list is the most appropriate place for this
post, please take it to dev or dev/null.
Thanks,
Steve Totaro
