This is true. I use a Polycom CX100 USB speakerphone device. The
insteresting thing is that I soften run Skype, X-Pro and Firefly on the
same desktop...at the same time. They all use the same device
regardless of where the calls come from. I use Firefly as an IAX soft
phone. X-Pro is SIP. And Skype is completely proprietary. FWIW, the
X-Lite/X-Pro software senses the loss of the device when its unplugged
and switched to the next most sensible device...then restores the use
of the Polycom unit if I plug it back in. Very slick.
