the
h323 phone. different allow/disallow settings in h323.conf don't change
things, currently I've got the followin there:
	allow=3Dall		; turns on all installed codecs
	disallow=3Dg729
	disallow=3Dg723.1
	;disallow=3Dg723.1	; Hm...  Proprietary, don't use it...

The network trace of asterisk <=3D> gatekeeper conversation looks =
reasonable at
first glance - but then I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

altertingOpenLogicalChannel message from gatekeeper specifies g711Ulaw =
for
both forward and reverse logicalChannel parameters

Anyone got an idea where to start looking for the reason asterisk =
doesn't
find/use g711Ulaw to communicate with the h323 phone?
