He describes the problem as having the sound slowly fade out and then fade back at a regular frequency. Has anyone experienced this before? Can you suggest a potential cause? The client is an IAX2 soft phone running on Windows XP. Asterisk version is 1.2.4. Codec is G.711-ulaw. The user is connecting from long distance away (from client phone in New Zealand to Asterisk™ server in Australia). We've confirmed that roundtrip times are fairly consistent and that the user's PC is in good working order. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks. -- Lucas
