Thank you very much for making this patch available!
I'm not all that clear on the development process in Asterisk -- does this
mean that your patch will be present in the next release of Asterisk (1.2.8
or 1.3 or whatever the next version is)? Or do I have to manually apply the
patch every time I want to upgrade?
Also, while it makes sense to have a VOLGAIN setting in VOICEMAIL.CONF, is
this really fixing the original bug? Given the huge difference in volume
between the WAV and WAV49 encodings, it seems rather likely that one or the
other of the formats has a bug in it. Shouldn't the output volume for any of
the supported formats be at least approximately the same?
