call-limit parameter (usually located in sip_additional.conf in AAH or

On my 4-line IP phones I can have 4 simutaneous calls come in with only the
1 registration. When a second call comes in you push line 2 and Asterisk
starts music-on-hold on line 1. What kind of IP phones are you using.
