[Asterisk-Users] AirCard GSM and Asterisk PBX

I've a quetsion:

I bought a Sierra Wireless AirCard 775 PCMCIA that may work well with linux

Now I want to install in my Ricoh R5CE745 PCMCIA / PCI (that's ok)

But I also want to attach it to my asterisk pbx to make a cheap gsm gateway

Can anybody help me because I don't understand if it works as a modem why I
need to attach it my sound card

With headset ??? What channel I must use to configure it ??
