[asterisk-users] is it possible to use Asterisk voicemail as anouncement system only?

What happens if you use the "maxmsg" variable in voicemail.conf and
set it to 0 or 1? Don't know if there's a minimum limit, the max is I
think 9999 and default is 100. Maybe there's a built-in vacation mode
feature but I don't know about it.
