[asterisk-users] Realtime and hints

Can realtime be used with hints? How would you get the following into the database given that the priority column is numeric, and that there is no application for the first entry?

exten => 2944006,hint,SIP/2944006
exten => 2944006,1,Dial(SIP/2944006)

Every time I touch realtime I hit obstacles. How are others getting around this limitation?
