I have done something similar with Avantel, but not sharing channels
in the same link. I received 1 E1 line for voice, and other E1 line
for Internet, but in theory sharing channels should not be a problem.
I could not make HDLC work with the kernel HDLC generic software
driver and Digiums cards, so I used Sangoma's instead, and worked
perfectly. Sangoma have their own kernel drivers for as far as i
remember. If you want a quick installation, i would suggest you to use
Sangoma cards.
In fact Digium provided us with very little support for HDLC. A plus
for Sangoma is that they have a simple console graphical user
interface for configuration.
