[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk CMD MySQL

What version of asterisk do I need to be running for this to work? I have
1.0.9 running and when I try to install asterisk-addons from CVS I get
app_addon_sql_mysql.c23:19: mysql.h: No such file or directory.

So of course it fails to install that add-on. What am I missing? I can find
info on how to use it, but not much on getting it working.
