[Asterisk-Users] Application return values

Ok..I've googled around and looked at documentation and can't seem
to find an answer to, is there a way to use the return value from
an application (MP3Player, etc.) in a conditional (GotoIf, etc.)?
If so, can someone point me at an example?  Sorry if this has been
covered in the past, but I'm a noob and just learning all of this.
