We do something similar with a perl script, it grabs the file sizes of the 2
legs of the recording, then waits 5 seconds and checks the filesizes again,
and if the recording is finished the files should not have grown in size
over 5 seconds so it mixes the files together. This of course would not work
if you had something like recording-pausing enabled on your server though.
