I recommend whatever someone is familiar with and likes. I noticed that
many people were quick to suggest changing the tools used and no one
else yet has posted a fix for using what someone wants. Its a trivial
fix to go from dos&win/mac -> unix using either simple shell tools or
programs written specifically for that task.
