We're experiencing the same problem over here:
-- Executing VoiceMail("IAX2/cspbxout-3",
"s201 at internal&101 at internal") in new stack
-- Playing 'beep' (language 'en')
-- Recording the message
-- x=0, open writing:
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/internal/201/INBOX/msg0003 format: wav49,
0x81a3010
-- x=1, open writing:
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/internal/201/INBOX/msg0003 format: gsm,
0x8151380
-- x=2, open writing:
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/internal/201/INBOX/msg0003 format: wav,
0x81b1468
-- User ended message by pressing #
-- Playing 'auth-thankyou' (language 'en')
Nov 3 23:58:52 NOTICE[11654]: app_voicemail.c:2298 copy_message:
Copying message from 201 at internal to 101 at internal
Nov 3 23:58:57 WARNING[11654]: app.c:1158 ast_lock_path: Failed to lock
path '': File exists
Haven't seen a resolution anywhere, and believe you me, I tried my heart
out. I swear this worked yesterday, but I retraced all my steps, and
other than some basic changes to the dialplan, everything is the same.
I know others out there are probably having the same issue; one's a
fluke, two's a bug, a misconfiguration at the very least.

Hi,
We're experiencing a problem with basic VM distribution groups where
messages won't be delivered.
VM is called with a command like: Voicemail(20&30&39&...
CLI Shows:
Oct 1 20:54:33 NOTICE[26943]: app_voicemail.c:1990 copy_message:
Copying message from 60 at default to 50 at default
Oct 1 20:54:38 WARNING[26943]: app.c:1125 ast_lock_path: Failed to
lock
path '': File exists
for each attempt and nothing is delivered.
I've read a number of threads where the VM distribution list exceeds 256
characters and this breaks things, but that isn't the case here.
Delivery
fails with even a small number of mailboxes.
Voicemail works normally otherwise.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks,
-Corey
