Eric,

	You can use CentOS 3.  It is practically the same thing as RHEL 3.  If 
you don't want to use CentOS 3/RHEL 3, there is pretty much no point to 
getting ABE.  There is a list of supported distros for a reason.  While 
I can't speak for Digium (obviously), they will probably be reluctant to 
support a distro that is not on the list.  As a matter of fact, this 
could apply for CentOS as well.  Check with them.
