[Asterisk-Users] SEND TEXT to an extension?

Nope, I don't think it works, but maybe you could do the following:
use the polycoms autoanswer feature, drop a .call file to call the
polycom using the autoanswer feature, then have it just use the
sendtext, and hangup commands. This will do what you want.
