Doh. I didn't read close enough.

That means you don't have mysql installed. Or rather, you don't have mysql
headers/libraries stored in default locations.
mysql.h should be located (by default) in /usr/local/include/mysql/
other common locations: /usr/include/ /usr/include/mysql/
