[Asterisk-Users] Cisco 7960

I have just got my Cisco 7960 working.  The key is to set the phones to 
register with the SIP proxy.  It is an option that appears to be 
disabled by default, and I could not find any way of enabling it from 
the phone's MMI interface.

you need to use TFTP to load a config file in which has the following lines

# Proxy Registration (0-disable (default), 1-enable)

proxy_register: 1

I found all the information at

It now registers with Asterisk beautifully.
