[Asterisk-Users] Advanced conference features, meetme2?

Nope that wont work.
The whole reason you need to change and unchanged mute for conference
calls is when on a cell phone or listening in on 'broadcast' conference
where the majority of the time I will be just listening in eg - a
brokers report or similar but I may want to ask a question at the end of
it.
Now the conference manager may or may not want to let me ask a question
at that point, if I press a key and the conference manager has the
option to let me speak or not speak at that time then this would be a
heavily used feature.
Also the ability for the conference manager to 'raise' the volume of my
question would be really handy as well. I hate the amount of times I
manage a conference cal only to have to repeat questions on a regular
basis because of low volume from one speaker etc.
It shouldn't be that hard to have a little slider bar on a web page
increasing or decreasing an individual channel.
If anyone is developing advance conference features and wants to have me
work with them on it to develop features let me know as I am a heavy
user of conference calls and can let you know what you need.
Cheers,
Dean

Yet I think there _is_ a way around this: Let the admin leave the
conference for a very short moment by pressing a key, and than manage
the
mute action outside of MeetMe in the dialplan or in an agi, and then
(automatically) let the admin join the conference again.
