For a single-span T1 card, get the Wildcard TE110P from digium.  Froogle
for it, should come out to <$600 (afaik, digium no longer sells them
directly).

Channel Banks (or T1 Multiplexers) go for hundreds to >$1,000 on ebay.
I believe CAC and Adtran 600 are known to work.  I'd venture a guess
that most of these are configured with FXS (not FXO, as you'd need), but
once in a while you should find a good mix.  Below is a link to what
looks like one heck of a deal -- and it looks like the bidder knows

If that whole thing is a bit rich for your application, you could
consider using eight Sipura SPA-3000 and for $600-$700 would get 8FXO
ports (and some fun failover capabilities!) thrown in.  It's a bear to
administer though, unless you get the proper tools from Sipura.
