E911 legislation has no business being applied to VOIP...
That gets the FCC involved, and is a foot in the door to legislating the
internet itself.
Nope... I'll have none of that...
Get a junk cell phone and keep it handy if you want E911 service. It
doesn't even have to be active on anyones network. Any cell phone, whether
active or inactive is able to place an E911 call.
