[Asterisk-Users] Sound Cards, ALSA, and Asterisk

After looking on ALSA's web site, I believed that ALSA had good support for
the CA0106 chipset used in such cards as the Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit. I
had all kinds of problems with it and finally was reading the driver source
code and realized that it is documented to not work with lower sample rates
and other things that Asterisk requires of a sound card for the console ALSA
channel.

I'm definitely not interested in using OSS, as I need some ALSA-specific
functionality.

I would appreciate it if a few people could recommend a sound card with at
least two output DSP's and analog outputs (front/rear, for example) that
works flawlessly with the ALSA console channel driver in Asterisk. (Kernel
version is 2.6.13.2)

Thanks!
