OK Angus
just start here....
mv extensions.conf extensions.conf.old
and create a new extensions.conf
[default]
exten => _2XX,1,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN},20,Ttm)
exten => _2XX,2,Hangup
just those 3 lines
do an 'extensions reload' in the CLI or just restart Asterisk
and see if it works
