Nonsense -- that PDF is for a VERY specific implementation that I would not 
consider a "normal" interface between a KSU and Asterisk.

I've got Asterisk and a Norstar MICS in a much more "realistic" marriage...  
It's more or less trivial except for the limitations that Norstar puts on 
their system in what feels like an attempt to prevent this exact kind of 
setup.
