Hear hear!!

I gnash my teeth regularly about the MySQL-centricity of a lot of 
add-ons for Asterisk.  I run dozens of things on Postgres, and don't 
want to have to babysit a MySQL instance for just those purposes.

ODBC is ultimately the way this stuff ought to all be coded.
