[Asterisk-Users] RE: Cisco 79XX phones not talking to asterisk

Thanks for the help.  The problem appears to be the .cnf files.  I created
them in notepad on windows.  When I copied the default .cnf files over, I
noticed the cisco files are unix files.   Only a guess but the config files
were DOS files not unix.

Which version of code is the phone currently running?  I remember you 
had to boot a new 'boot loader' which would boot the new code when you 
upgrade from older versions.
