We have the following problem with our asterisk system:
We have a very long no. 089xxxx3168205 (14 digits) or perhaps minus the 1st
3 digits as that is the area code.
Some people are having issues when they phone from certain PABX´s or have to
try many times to get through, which is really bad.
I have noticed from my mobile this does not occur.
pbx*CLI>
-- Extension '2' in context 'default' from '89xxx990' does not exist.
Rejecting call on channel 0/2, span 1
-- Extension '2' in context 'default' from '89xxx990' does not exist.
Rejecting call on channel 0/3, span 1
Connected to Asterisk CVS-HEAD-08/12/04-11:15:45 currently running on pbx
(pid = 10835)
-- Remote UNIX connection
pbx*CLI>
-- Executing Dial("Zap/4-1", "SIP/7960c1|30|tr") in new stack
-- Called 7960c1
-- Accepting call from '89xxx990' to '205' on channel 0/4, span 1
-- SIP/7960c1-5287 is ringing
What I can see from the above is that it seems to be cutting off the last 2
digits but then suddenly gets through on the third attempt.(extension 2 does
not exist)
We use 3 digit extension no.s
Any ideas, any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.
Matt Oulton.
