FYI: I hope that this is not a "me" error and that Digium can squash this
bug (or new hardware fixes it). Either way, when this is over, perhaps I
can provide some troubleshooting documentation for these errors.

Subject: PRI Errors (HDLC Abort (6) on Primary D-channel)
Hello,
I called last week and got a ticket number (13329) but have not yet
received a call back. My T400P card that I use to serve my phone system
and take incoming V.90 callers is dropping all channels randomly. It is
currently configured like this:
(T400P) <--> <ASTERISK> <--> SIP/VoIP/etc.
|
(Port1) ---- <now unused / previously LEC-PRI>
|
(Port2) ---> <Max 40000 / V.90 Dial-up users>
|
(Port3) ---> <Microcom isPorte / Fax Test>
|
LEC-PRI <-----> (Port4)
The system seems to be an excellent solution for my needs except for the
PRI errors (http://www.linuxsys.com/files/pritrubbl.txt). Lots of sleep
has been lost trying to determine the cause of the error. I have replaced
the server hardware, tried various asterisk releases, changed operating
systems, all to no avail. The worst part is that I have not found any
method to determine the exact cause of the error and the telco says "it's
not me".
In all the searching I have done I find that many others are experiencing
the problem but no real cause or resolution is described.
Althought I am ready to purchase a new card, I am not convinced that the
problem is hardware as the errors only occur with on the LEC-PRI span.
Span 2 and 3 never error out. I must fix this problem asap or search out
alternatives immediately. Please let me know how to proceed.
Regards,
