I checked a couple of the software voip interfaces (echolink, irlp) but none
of the radios
these projects hardware talks to looked like they supports fsr/gmfrs
repeaters.
could you post a link or 2 that has a hardware interface to frs/gmfrs
repeater
the would talk to these motorola or uniden consumer 2-ways radios ...
using what you call a "phone patch" type devices
