[Asterisk-Users] Monitor does not like variable subsitutions

Hello,
It does appear to be an issue with the colon, as I ran
this test:
exten => _9X.,2,SetVar(REC_FILE_NAME=test)
exten => _9X.,3,Monitor(wav|${REC_FILE_NAME}|m)
and it worked fine. Indeed a colon is a valid
filename under Linux. So is this a bug?
