[Asterisk-Users] asterisk@home in production env

Hi there
 
I just wanted to know what the difference between asterisk at home and manually
built boxes actually is ?? What makes asterisk at home a "home" system ? Is it
not a good idea to run A at home then modify/tweak it to use in a production
environment ??, if so why not, would somebody be able to explain this to me,
it seems to have a "hobbiest" tag associated with it, and i just wanted to
know the difference
