[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk Configuration

I have installed Redhat Linux 9 and Asterisk 1.2.1 on new computer. I need to know initial configuration of Asterisk i.e How to register a sip user?. What files do I have to edit?
I am new about the Asterisk
please help me....
