[Asterisk-Users] fxs woes...

hello all,

i wanted to know when will an fxs not send/receive audio if called to. it sends/receives when dialled from to other fxo's, sip, conference and playback of voice files but not to other fxs's. basically the situation is:

sip->fxs fail
fxo->fxs fail
fxs->sip pass
fxs->fxo pass

the log files are completely useless and do not show any errors. i have tried everything from fxstest to changing power supply etc. digium support says its a configuration error rather than a hardware fault and i agree.any ideas as to how i should proceed on debugging are most welcome
