Another resource you might want to consider is Ted Wallingford's
"Switching to VoIP":
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/switchingvoip/
It uses Asterisk extensively in examples and provides good coverage of
concepts like QoS, codecs, etc. that are important considerations in
many Asterisk deployments.
