I am experiencing segmentation faults in AstManProxy. If anyone could
help me identify their source, it would be appreciated.
The pertinent information is below. Please let me know if you need any more.

Notes

In order to get AstManProxy to compile for the 64 bit architecture, I
had to change the following line in the Makefile from:
CFLAGS := $(DEFINES) -Wall -O2 -rdynamic -D_REENTRANT
To:
CFLAGS := $(DEFINES) -Wall -fPIC -O2 -rdynamic -D_REENTRANT
