And newer boards with more intelligent APICs don't have this problem at 
all, since every slot has INTA wired to a separate APIC input :-) From 
what I understand, there are even boards out there where the INTAs are 
all wired to separate inputs, but then combined in the (less 
intelligent) APIC.
