Peter, again thanks so much for your response. But not what u mean here.
i change the dial sting to following and i got same results.

;Extentions at telx-nyc
exten => _70XX,1,Dial(IAX2/telx-NY17S:telx-NY17S at telx-nyc/${EXTEN})

What point am i missing?
