In all seriousness, if you want a good low-end system, why not order a
machine from Dell? You can get good 1.7ghz systems for as low as $299.

Ancillary question, I wonder if anyone knows a source for high-end (but
cheap because they're a generation behind) PIII motherboards and CPU that
would be a good match for * ? That should keep the price down? Rather than
look for those small specialized but expensive boxes.
